TRADING STATEMENT                                                               
In accordance with the JSE Limited`s Listings Requirements, shareholders are    
advised that for the six months ended 28 February 2010, Purple Capital is       
expecting to declare a basic and headline loss of approximately 1,10 cents per  
share compared to a loss of 10,35 cents per share for the six months ended 28   
February 2009.                                                                  
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been 
reviewed or reported on by Purple Capital`s auditors.
